Landlore produced its first seasonal film content in Christmas 2022 - ‘Wrap Christmas Up In A Bow’ in collaboration with floral designer Hazel Gardiner and author Alice Vincent.
ALICE VINCENT AND HAZEL GARDINER WRAP CHRISTMAS UP IN A BOW
The film provides evergreen content for both artists to showcase an aspirational Christmas aesthetic that’s also achievable on a budget whilst sharing some game changing decoration tips and mechanics. The long-form film is designed to slow people down at a busy time of year, encourage them to weave in more considerate decor and learn some new, enriching skills. Created alongside the long-form video stand a set of promotional reels that both creatives can use year after year to promote the ‘Wrap Christmas up in a Bow’ asset.
At the core of this video was the visual concept presented to us, which centred around the ethos of both on-screen collaborators where being thoughtful to the environment was key - choosing to highlight re-using, dried and living plants, paper and found materials in festive displays in the home. Filmed at Alice’s home and briefly on location in New Covent Garden Flower Market, we found between Hazel and Alice a great warmth in the familiar places to both their craft and their lifestyle. As a seasonal evergreen piece of content we also wanted to ensure the atmosphere and delivery of the film remained friendly, approachable, informative (without being too formal and stiff) with a warm sense of fun to be enjoyed in 2022 and beyond.
